The purpose of the regular Steering Group Meeting is to monitor the project and evaluate progress of its implementation.

The participants of the meeting discussed the results achieved during the reporting period of the project and briefly presented future activities.

Topics that were discussed focused, inter alia, on the conclusions and recommendations of the EU’s 5th visa suspension mechanism report and the introduction of the EU’s ETIAS system in 2023, which bears direct relevance to the work of IOM.
